Also, in an attempt to better serve our clients and be available for you, we have updated the phone system at the pantry and implemented a new email address.

While North Texas Giving Day (NTxGD) is officially on September 22, 2022, you can start “scheduling” your donations beginning TODAY, Sept. 1st. Any scheduled donations will count toward the bonus funds provided by the Communities Foundation of Texas and their partners.

This year, we need your support to purchase a refrigerated box truck for the pantry. Our existing truck has over 360,000 miles, and while we maintain it as best as we can, it’s only a matter of time before repairs out-cost its value. Also, the current truck is not a refrigerated truck, which limits its usability, especially in the summer months.
Our goal is to raise $70,000 for a good, used refrigerator box truck.
We are looking for corporations, matching donors, individuals, and groups to come alongside 5 Loaves Food Pantry to meet this need.
