Christmas for the Children

In November/December each year

Join us as we spread holiday cheer to over 460 underprivileged children in our community! This year’s Christmas for the Children event promises a magical event filled with joy and excitement. Kids will enjoy a visit with Santa, receive curated bags full of gifts purchased by members of the community, create festive crafts, bounce around in a fun bounce house, take a delightful train ride, sip on hot cocoa, and so much more!

Together, we can make this season bright for the children who need it most. Thank you for your continued support in making this special day unforgettable!

Online Auction

Thanks to YOU, we raised over  $40,000 during our 2024 Online Auction and Dinner!

With the online auction, registrations for Friday evening’s dinner, raffles, and live auctions during Friday evening, and our fantastic sponsors, we raised over $40,000 toward our current missions and programs!

Back to School Bash

Our annual Back 2 School Bash is coming up on Saturday, July 27th. Last year we served over 400 local children with school supplies ranging from backpacks, pencils, folders, crayons, and much more. We expect even more kids in need this year and are excited to serve them. Would you like to have a hand in setting a student up for a successful school year? Check out our school supply list, when you are at the store, go ahead and pick up a few items. You can also shop off our Amazon Wish List for school supplies as well. We need all donations dropped off by Saturday, July 20th.

 

North Texas Giving Day 2024

WE DID IT! And let’s give a huge shoutout to GOD for making it all possible! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters—both online and offline—we reached our North Texas Giving Day goal of $50,000 to fight food insecurity! Because of YOU, thousands of families will be nourished, and children will thrive. 

But that’s not all! We also set an ambitious goal to gather 50,000 pounds of donated food this month. With the amazing support from multiple food drives across Wylie and Sachse, plus two massive 18-wheelers filled with meat and deli items donated by Bar-S & Operation Frontline Warriors Foundation, we not only met that goal—we exceeded it!

 None of this could have happened without YOU! Thank you for your prayers, donations, volunteer hours, and all the love you pour into helping our neighbors. We are truly blessed to have such a fantastic community standing with us. Together, we’re making a real difference!

 

Fall Fun

Get ready for a spooktacular day of pumpkin decorating and fun at the Sachse Fall-O-Ween on October 19th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Heritage Park! We’re excited to announce that 5 Loaves will be sponsoring the Pumpkin Decorating station, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Bring a new, unopened jar of peanut butter to our table for a chance to win some exciting door prizes. Enjoy on-stage entertainment throughout the day, explore artisan craft vendors, indulge in delicious food from trucks, participate in a cornhole tournament, navigate a haunted maze, join a pumpkin hunt, and so much more. Don’t miss out on the fun!
